Girl Scouts Add 42 Badges

The Girl Scouts say they are working to empower America's future leaders. The group just unveiled 42 new badges including nine for cybersecurity and three for space science. Eighteeen of the badges can also be earned for computer programming. This means girls will learn the basics of coding and algorithm design along with building memes and games. The badges are available for every age group with or without access to a computer. The badges were unveiled at the Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
