Retired NFL legend Marshawn Lynch turned photographer was seen stiff arming an active player to protect his equipment during the preseason game between his former teams, the Las Vegas Raiders and Seattle Seahawks, on Thursday (August 7) night.

Seahawks running back George Holani rolled into the end zone on a long touchdown run and accidentally backed into Lynch, who pushed off him with his left forearm while holding his camera with his right hand. The Oakland native spent seven years of his NFL career with the Seahawks and two seasons with the Raiders when they still played in his hometown prior to relocating to Las Vegas, having also played for the Buffalo Bills during his first four seasons.

Lynch, a two-time All-Pro running back, had his signature play during his tenure with the Seahawks, having landed three stiff arms on his 67-yard 'Beast Quake' run during the NFC Wild Card Game in January 2011. The legendary former player was spotted alongside longtime Seahawks photographer Rod Mar during Holani's touchdown run, having showed his work to the veteran photographer in photos shared online.

Lynch is the third legendary former Seattle athlete to pursue a career in photography in athletics following Baseball Hall of Famers Randy Johnson and Ken Griffey Jr., who captured a photo of Grand Slam champion Rory McIlroy's victory at the 2025 Masters Tournament earlier this year.
