In a frequently split-screened presentation accompanied by bullet points and charts showing actual inventories of masks, ventilators and hospital beds, Walz highlighted a new state website that offers the public a chance to see details of the state’s preparation.
The website’s main page —mn.gov/covid19— serves as a portal for all things COVID-19, from unemployment and small business resources to Department of Health recommendations. Within that site are two “dashboards” linked at the bottom of the page.
TheMN COVID-19 Dashboarddisplays detailed information on confirmed cases, hospitalizations and deaths, as well as maps and lists showing where those cases are located, by county, and the general source of infection for them, if known, as well as ages of patients.
