As mandatory mini camps wrapped up at TCO Performance Center for the players, the Minnesota Vikings as an organization revealed and new initiative entitled the "Vikings Table".

In an effort "to serve healthy meals and provide nutrition education to our community" and to "combat youth food insecurity". Partnering up with Xcel Energy Vikings Table is a new and important piece of the Minnesota Vikings Foundations greater mission, which is to advance the well-being of youth through engaging health and education initiatives.

All packaged up inside a 39-foot camper/RV, the truck also features energy star rated appliances, solar panels, zero waste food service, an interactive education center and a photo booth for social integration.

The idea is thought to be the first effort of its kind to be supported by a professional sports organization.

Both running back Dalvin Cook and COO Kevin Warren will meet the media later this afternoon to share more information on the new initiative.
