Arnold Schwarzenegger Dropkicked During Event — See The Video

Now that's a headline you don't see every day.

On Saturday (May 18), a video surfaced of Arnold Schwarzenegger getting dropkicked from behind while meeting with fans at a sporting event in Johannesburg, South Africa.

In the clip, the 71-year-old former Governor of California is shown chatting with fans, signing autographs, and taking a video of the jump-rope competition on a phone. However, once he hands the device to someone in the crowd, a man is seen running towards Arnold before hoping in the air, dropkicking the Terminator actor.

The swift motion sent Arnold flying. However, a member of the actor turned politician's team quickly apprehended the man, who can be heard shouting while being pinned to the ground.

"I’m not an etiquette expert, but pretty sure if you want to ask Arnold Schwarzenegger for a Lamborghini, flying kicking him in the back is not a good start," a fan who was at the event captioned footage of the shocking incident.

Arnold later tweeted that he was fine, explaining that he initially thought he'd been knocked over because of the large crowd. "Thanks for your concerns, but there is nothing to worry about. I thought I was just jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot," he wrote. "I only realized I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you. I’m just glad the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat."
