According to reports, multiple teams have called the Vikings inquiring about acquiring CB Trae Waynes via trade.
Waynes’ 5th year option became guaranteed as the new year rolled in at 3pm today but that has not slowed interest. Still If a trade were to happen, the team acquiring Waynes would absorb the entire cap hit of $9.069 million.
The Vikings presently sit with around $3 million in cap space after the Anthony Barr deal so pulling $9million off the books would be welcomed.
