REPORT: #MNWild F Mikael Granlund traded to Nashville for F Kevin Fiala

We had been discussing the prospect of it all morning long and just about twenty minutes before the NHL trade deadline hit, Paul Fenton and the Minnesota Wild pulled the trigger trading forward Mikael Granlund to the Nashville Predators and maybe more.

The Athletic's Michael Russo has been all over the trade potential today and thinks that there might be more involved, though it's not yet been finalized.

Fiala, 22 years old, has played in 64 games for the Predators this season tallying 32 points on 10 goals and 22 assists, he's also averaged just over 15 minute of ice time a game.
