"We've got to go out there and play better..." Zimmer after loss to Pats

Following a Minnesota Vikings loss, head coach Mike Zimmer is usually a man of few words. Sch was the case Sunday evening in Foxboro after the Vikings fell to the Patriots 24-10 on the road.

It was clear from afar that the Vikings were not on the same playing field as the Patriots on this day, and that visual was formed pretty early.

"We just made too many mistakes today," Zimmer told KFAN after the game. "They came out with a bunch of looks on both sides of the ball and...we didn't adjust very well tonight I didn't think."

The Vikings remain on the road next week for another nationally televised game facing a resurgent Seattle Seahawks team on Monday Night Football and Zimmer's message was again short, and sweet.

"We've gotta go out there and play better."
