This is apparently how St. Paul is dealing with the rising crime?

Subject:St. Paul Police response to crime in the city

Good mornin'! I listen to y'all every mornin' and recently there's been a lot of talk about lack of police presence in Mpls and St. Paul. I work in downtown St. Paul and, recently, my company moved us to a parking lot closer to the office because many of us are feeling unsafe walking to our cars. This morning, as I was walking to the office, I saw a St. Paul Police van stop on the street. I slowed to see what they were doing and a group of 5 or 6 people got out and put the attached postcard on cars in the surrounding lots. I guess police presence isn't the answer. The answer is awareness of all the crime that they know is going on. :-| I went to the survey link on the back, thinking they wanted to know how I thought they were doing in making me feel safe visiting the city and it directed me to a survey asking how I felt about a specific interaction with an officer. I think the problem is not with any interaction I've had, but that too few of us are having those interactions.

Thought y'all would find this as interesting...and as frustrating as I did. Keep on doin' what y'all do!
